UK Pricing Although within the United Kingdom, the sheepskin products market is not particularly competitive, we make it easy for UK customers to access our unbeatable combination of low prices and outstanding quality. Our UK prices include Air Mail postage and insurance to the UK/Europe plus we actually bill in UK pounds so there are no foreign exchange charges on your credit card. Price comparisons Beware when comparing prices. Some internet retailers quote lower prices but can add up to 50% or even more for Air Mail postage at the checkout, or in some cases even after you have handed over your credit card details. Our UK pound prices include Air Mail postage direct to your door or wherever you want to send an order in the world (see website for list of countries we can ship to). Customs charges Although UK orders may incur Customs charges/VAT, we don't charge GST (the New Zealand equivalent of VAT) on our international sales. For most products you should still find our prices considerably lower than retail outlets in the UK after paying customs duties/VAT. If you are charged these, they will be collected by the postman or ParcelForce on delivery or at the local sorting office if you pickup the parcel. As their collection charge is a flat fee of GBP8.00, it can sometimes make sense to purchase several items in one go. For further info, see: www.hmrc.gov.uk All orders have the declared value in New Zealand dollars, either on a customs sticker or for items over 2Kg on a red consignment note. Note as a reputable commercial organisation we cannot declare any goods as a gift. Beware of websites that offer to do this as false declaration can lead to delays and even confiscations at the parcel's destination. Currency Selection For delivery to UK or European addresses, you must select either British pounds or Euros from the Select Currency link at the top left of each page on our main website. Alternatively, if you follow this link, it will select pounds for you: sheepskins UK. To save you from having to re-select the currency each time, the last selected currency is stored as a cookie on your PC, it just contains the 3 digit currency code. Minimum order The minimum order value for orders going to the UK is just 19 pounds. Some low value items are not economical to send alone, we have set the minimum order to allow us to keep our prices extremely low whilst still include international Air Mail postage. Delivery times Outside of the Christmas posting period, typical delivery times to the UK are just 4 to 6 working days. Delighted customers even report receiving orders to the UK in as little as 3 working days. Contacting Us Due to the time difference between New Zealand and the UK (11 to 13 hours depending on the time of year), we find e-mail to be the most efficient method of communication. UK wholesale enquiries We currently supply a number of UK shops and mail order companies. We send larger bulk orders of both sheepskin products and skin care cosmetics by air freight which is arranged by the customer through a freight forwarder. For smaller wholesale orders we can quote Air Mail inclusive prices and send by the bag/parcel. Large savings in Air Mail costs can be passed on when purchasing in bulk. |
